Sir - So the Northern Link road won't be needed before 2030.
My wife left home at 7.30am to make sure she arrives at work by 9.30am this Is to travel form Meadowbank Drive ST.Johns to Farrier street.
This Is because Sansome Walk Is closed and the traffic is horrendous.
I challenge these decision makers to come and do this journey when there is an accident somewhere in Worcester or we have floods or any other type of hiccup.
After decisions have been made, for example, to put traffic lights on the junction of Watery Lane and Bromyard Road or Comer Road and Bromyard Road does anybody go and check to see if It is working afterwards.
Obviously not.
The Watery Lane traffic lights were not working for two days last week and no one was waiting from any directio., I thought the penny had dropped but no, back to waiting again.
When you actually get to ST.johns if someone decides to park outside Richardson's newsagent to unload and someone else wants to turn right, no one can get through, so we have tail backs.
This has been the same for years and could easily be fixed. We could save thousands on unnecessary traffic lights.
If these decision makers can't fix simple common sense problems, should they be making decisions on a larger scale which Is going to cost the local economy millions in the long run.
Time to change the decision makers Is the only answer.
John Matthews.
