Sir,
I have been reading your paper for nearly 30 years and on many occasions have been tempted to write to you in reply to the many serious issues in your columns. But today I just have to write in!
I read with interest the article in today's Worcester News by Ian Craig titled "Am I a victim of short man syndrome?"
I do sympathise with Ian. I know it can be very difficult to hold your own, particularly in groups of taller people. They often simply look over you particularly if you have a bald head. But I must say Ian complains of only being five foot six. He is lucky! Try being five foot four and half (now five foot four without hair!). And as for being compared to the Hobbit; pure luxury! My nick name is Gollum! However, I am who I am; "precious!" I am sure Ian is too!
