Sir - I want to thank each and every one of you for attending the funeral of my good mate Denis Price at Worcester Crematorium on Thursday October 9th 2014.
It was so humbling to think that people who didn’t know Den put themselves out on quite a miserable day to help give him the send-off that he truly deserved.
Thank you also to Harry Massam and the Worcester branch of The Worcestershire Regiment for honouring Den with a guard of honour, and the playing of the last post.
It just shows that people still remember the brave ‘boys’ who went to save our country in 1944, god bless you all.
