Sir - re CITY'S BOOMING SHOPS
Are we all led to believe that Worcester's shops are booming according to the front page of the Worcester News on Monday.
Was there a proper survey done or just a few newly open shops questioned !.
There are still plenty of empty shops in the city centre and no doubt there will be plenty more with the proposal of more out of city developments.
If you want to eat out or enjoy a coffee or maybe visit the numerous charity shops then Worcester is the place to come to.
Sadly though with John Lewis and Waitrose coming to retail parks outside the City then the outlook for the City Centre is only going to get worse.
Let's be realistic Worcester is a great City but traffic congestion car parking charges and out of town developments are not going to help local businesses.
