SIR - Yesterday's WN (2/12/14) carried a letter from Richard Udall complaining about Lady Morrison opening the new Malvern Fire Station.
In it he admitted that he had never met her. If he had he would know, as I do, that her work for local charities has been done over many years and is to be commended. I have met her many times and know this to be true. Like the rest of us in public life she has " put in a good shift".
In my 8 years at County Hall I know that Richard has many admirable qualities. But his achillies heal is the chip on his shoulder over what he perceives to be the privileged few. He would do himself a favour by desisting.
