SIR - Under the Stars at the Hive.

We went to a great performance at the weekend in the studio, the cast really engaged with the children, making the audience part of the adventure. This is another successful and highly entertaining performance from Language Alive at the Hive (we've previously seen the Snow Queen).

The problem though is the size of the audience, it was more than half empty. When i initially booked tickets the only notice about it was a flyer on the desk in the children's section. There was no adverts up anywhere, the only place you can book tickets is at the Hive, so you can't phone up or book online. As someone who doesn't got into the Hive regularity this is a problem, i had to make my decision on that day. The Hive also didn't take card payments, and we only just had enough cash to pay.

This is such a waste, the Hive needs to think about their advertising, and look at using a booking agency, couldn't the booking office at Huntington hall sell tickets ?

I'd recommend this theatre companies performances to any parent. Please can the Hive sort out their marketing or we will loose the opportunity to see performances at this venue.
