So have we not learned from history ?. Two world wars and Britain was almost starved to death with the U boat threat.
We could not feed ourselves alone with what we produced we needed food brought in from abroad.
Since then we have become more reliant on food from abroad and at the same time we are concreting over green fields at an alarming rate. What's happening to this green and pleasant land of ours.
It is hoped that we will never have a mass scale European war again, however there is no guarantee !
Russia is certainly flexing her muscle in the Baltic and could easily be a threat to blockading our ports.
The Royal Navy was once the largest Navy in the world twice the size of the US Navy and the German Navy combined, Sadly it would not come in the top 6 now.
Lets stop this massacre of our green fields to greedy developers and pay the farmers a proper rate for growing our own crops.
