SIR - On December 9 I was one of a large group of elderly people who attended the King's School Christmas Party.
We were treated to an excellent concert performed by very talented young people.
We then had a festive tea and each of us received a present and finally there was a short carol service.
It was an extremely happy afternoon for all of us.
Sincere thanks to all those people who worked so hard to make it possible.
