Sir - Miss Deborah Claire (letters, 13 January) suggests that Worcester City Council’s fortnightly recycling collection is not working, but our own research tells a different story.
A survey last summer showed that 79 per cent of city residents were happy with their recycling collections and 81 per cent with their black bin waste collections.
If Miss Claire needs more space for her recycling she can request an additional green bin by logging on to www.worcester.gov.uk/recycling or calling 01905 722233.
We can also provide larger black bins for larger households, but we always encourage people to check if there is more household waste that they can recycle. Look at the Household Recycling list on www.worcester.gov.uk/recycling to see if you can do more.
