So, a victory that campaigners have fought for over 40 years and the Worcester News responds with an unsubtle placement (page 3) of a largely unsupportive and needlessly illustrated article which concentrates on models losing one outlet for work.

The daily display of women`s breasts has constantly sent out the message that women are to be valued only for their breast size and is somewhat outdated in the equality striving society of 2015; and indeed is a view which has always been unacceptable to many.

The fact that this feature has gone and a tabloid paper may be joining the 21st century is not even alluded to in your article.

The `No more Page 3` group and their views get very little column space.

The overall message seems to concentrate on the employment of a minority at the expense of a much wider view that recognises the damage these photographs do to young women`s self-esteem and how women in general are viewed in society.
