Sir - Bus fares increased on Sunday January 18th. How can this be justified?
The rises work out at way above the rate of inflation which is supposed to be at it's lowest for years and possibly likely to remain so. Due to World conditions I should add. Nothing to do with Cameron and the Bullyingdon Boys.
A major cost for the bus company must be the price of diesel which is tumbling and likely to decrease further.
Overall the pressure on prices is down and yet the fares go up.
It would be very interesting to hear the bus company's side of the story.
