Sir - I found UKIP supporter Will Richards' comparison of certain political parties to fish somewhat amusing ("A voice for the people they usually ignore", Worcester News, January 20th).
Strange though that the "Green minnow", having recently enjoyed a surge of popularity, now has a membership that is several thousand greater than UKIP's and which would pass those of both the Tory and Labour parties by election time, if its growth continued at the present rate.
So it looks like many of those people who are "fed up with the broken promises, deceit or downright lies of the usual suspects" could be voting Green, rather than purple, come May 7th.
His description of UKIP as a "shark" may be rather more accurate, although somewhat insulting to sharks, perhaps!
