Sir - Judging by the recent letters page in our 'News' the politicisation of the NHS continues apace.

Dr Tibbutt, and Mr Young both lay the blame for the state of our NHS with Labour.

Dr Tibbutt , obviously as Chairman of Worcester Conservative Association, puts aside his medical input to use the phrase that Tories seem to love...weaponising...whilst singing the praises of our current MP, and criticising his main opponent.

Anyone would think it was he who was weaponising the subject!

He points out rightly that things have improved immensely since 1976.

A large amount of that period was under a Labour government however.

Mr Young seems to blame Labour for everything, blissfully ignoring, if I can use that phrase, that the current Conservative administration have been in charge of our NHS for nearly half a decade.

This last bit-the continuing blaming of the last administration for pretty much everything, seems to be a tactic, but this is what they did at the last election! Its their record we all need to look at and question now.

And perhaps because they know that's what we should be doing, they are trying to avoid the tv debates.

Its their turn , as it was Labours under Brown ,to answer for their actions during this parliament. And stop avoiding rightful scrutiny by continually going back to the past.
