Sir - The ongoing actions of our local NHS trust, headed by Harry Turner, are becoming more concerning by the day.
Finally, it seems, staff have become so disillusioned by the management (not whistleblowers as Mr Turner tried to imply), that they are prepared to put their futures on the line. To put our care and safety first and foremost.
We should thank them for that. We should support them too.
Because they aren't doing this for personal glory, but to try to ensure good and proper care for us.
The management culture under Mr Turner has appeared for quite a few years to concentrate on shutting people up, and covering their backs.
It's too late for that now. Their current performance, unlike the clinical staff they manage who are excellent, is nothing short of incompetent.
Perhaps its time Mr Turner considers his position. Along with some of his many anonymous colleagues in the management team. Even the BBC couldn't get hold of him last night.
He has a lot of questions to answer. Starting now.
