Sir - Marilyn Leary (Worcester News 16th March), appeals for a chair lift on the Malverns, and I totally agree. As she says they do not upset people in the mountains of Europe ,and I have seen lifts of various kinds at hilly resorts in this country.
No doubt most objectors are the young or fit and able, but I can assure them that there comes a time for most people when life catches up with you and such pleasures are lost.
Surely a chair lift would bring back a little of life’s lost enjoyments to so many people?
