Sir - What are the plans for the unemployed from the other parties running in the elections? Are they going to scrap the 'slave' - oops, sorry, I mean work - programme?
Everyone goes on about low wages, but when compared to those on the work programme they are higher. On government schemes you 'work' (so Iain Duncan Smith says) for about £2 an hour, dependent on your benefit, as you have to do up to 30 hours a week.
This should be of concern to every working person as this could effect you if you become unemployed regardless of how many years you have worked as these schemes are designed as one size fits all - which we know it doesn't.
