SIR, What a quandary us voters have got before the General Election. Just look at the options we have; do we vote for Cameron and his Eton Boys? I think not because even though I have been a life long Tory I find it difficult to place any faith in someone who constantly misleads us and seems to get great pleasure in berating Nigel Farage! The UKIP leader relates a lot to the average British working man by having a pint, smoking and battling against mass immigration. As for Nick Clegg, here is a turgid man who - will jump into any political bed with anyone to satisfy his ego and lust for power. Maybe he should call his party the Lib Dodo's because - like the infamous bird hopefully they will soon become extinct. Then we come to Ed Milliband. Even Labour diehards now realise that they chose the wrong brother. They have two policies that are totally unworkable (take heed Ms Squires). Increase the minimum wage to £8 per hour. Does Ed Milliband (maybe he should change his name to Ed Silliband) and Joy not realise there are millions of people paid the minimum wage or just above it working in Care Homes, pubs and clubs on this type of wage. In their naivety do they not realise the Breweries and all other employers will simply pass on the increase to the consumer. Also they both claim that they curtail zero-hour contracts - come into the real world both of you. I personally worked on a zero-hour contract at a warehouse in Worcester and take it from me virtually all the workforce were very happy on zero-hour contracts. Sorry both of you are living in cloud cuckoo land by believing increasing the minimum wage by over 20 per cent will solve any problems. It will result in more pub closures (what there is left) and thousand of employees being sacked and placed on the dole; then the minimum wage becomes irrelevant.

Bring it on Nige.
