Sir - I was startled to read Conservative Party election agent and City Council candidate Will Pryce suggest that Tory banners and signs have been deliberately defaced by Labour supporters. Absolute nonsense.
This sort of childish and personal comment is typical of the Tory Party's national campaign. The Nasty Party are quite content to make suggestions they cannot evidence and personal remarks that denigrate their opponents, rather than debate on election issues.
There's no need to be personal, and I am sure that Mr Pryce has heard people saying "you're all as bad as each other" during the course of his canvassing. His cheap remarks just add to the malaise about politics and demean anyone and everyone involved. I would suggest Robin Walker tell his employee to think before blurting out insults such as these.
