Sir, I just have to address the Tory claims of how they are looking after we pensioners.

Locally the Tories without consultation took away the subsidy for the one hot meal per day for those in living in Sheltered Housing. Locally they threw the Blue Badge holders off the St Swithun Street disabled car parking in favor of the taxis.

The funding to small volunteer groups has been cut by up to 85%.

Nationally on coming into government Winter Fuel payments were cut by £50 a year

People in receipt of State Pensions, have had Pension savings credits reduced each year e.g. a State Pension Increase of £3.63p less a reduction of Pension savings credit of £2.29 leaves a State pension increase in real terms of £1.34p per week, not £3.63p.

Locally which affects us all, just look at the reorganising of the NHS which appears to be in crisis, blamed upon we older people living longer.

Well it must be news to this government that I have been around 78 years and had a National security number issued on birth, so I haven’t just become an old person, I am a paid up member of society and have been for many years.

They are the nasty Tories, and they don’t deserve pensioners votes do they?
