Sir - It was with horror I read the remarks made by (Judge) Nigel Cadbury about the murder of Karen Buckley in Glasgow.

I cannot begin to understand how a girl brutally murdered , alone and away from her parents and brothers in her last hours could even be compared to the every day sitting of this man's court.

His total lack of knowledge of the circumstances of this girls murder makes it even more strange and his lack of dignity and respect for her family shows the man devoid of any compassion.

I have stronger words to describe how I feel but would be unprintable for your readership.

I know I speak for many and most Irish and Scottish people on this and even though we share the same name we are not related, even though I would be proud to be a member of that decent and respected family, something that Cadbury could only wish "decency" but is beyond his reach.
