Sir -I recently got hospitalised through my GP care and was omitted initially to the MAU , then Laurel ward and then the Cardiology unit for important life changing treatment.

This admission occurred at the time of crisis for the Worcestershire Royal hospital A&E department.

Whilst managing my health under the care at the hospital you immediately realise two things.

Firstly how lucky I was to be surrounded by committed dedicated and professional people who are so passionate about their role in caring for people in hospital.

Secondly I realised how stretched they are managing workload and resource in doing their job. The Cardiology team in particular treated me with the utmost dedication which put me at ease at my most lowest time in my life.

At a time where complaining for greater public service is at an all time high, let's make sure this is constructively pointed at the suits upstairs and the politicians and not the people at the front line who in my case did a remarkable job of improving my life through their professional care.
