Sir - I have just been reading page 5, article headed “ANGER OVER WEED-KILLER” in the Berrow’s Worcester Journal.
The active ingredient in Roundup Pro Biactive is Glyphosate. The Worcester Council need to get there facts correct. Glyphosate regardless of who manufactured it is only safe to children and pets when it is dry.
I have a bottle in front of me now and it reads “ CHILDREN AND PETS need not be excluded from treated areas once dry” Areas’ sprayed with this product, should be cordoned off until it is dry
I understand the anger. I am sure plenty of people, not just myself, have purchased bottles of Glyphosate and read these instructions.
Mrs Jean Hickton
Worcester.
