SIR, I cannot understand the sudden interest in the Lich(Lych) Street area!
In the 60's the area was classed as a slum, and going under the Lych Gate was like arriving in a Dickens' novel.
During the "rape" of 60's Worcester the Lych Gate was demolished with impunity, the only one then standing in England.
Even the name of the area was changed to Cathedral Plaza, because Lich means corpse.
As a member of the Richard III Society I am very interested in history, it appears to me that the Lich Gate has been closed after the corpse has bolted!
