Sir – What is the point of the traffic bulletins on BBC Hereford and Worcester?
I ask this because last Thursday 7th May, they stated that there were temporary traffic lights at the top of London Road where the new Waitrose supermarket is being built. I travelled along this stretch of road only to find no sign of any roadworks and the traffic flowing a lot more freely than normal.
However, today, Tuesday May 12th, there was no mention of any lights, roadworks or congestion on their 7am and 7.15am bulletins but that was not the case. The traffic lights had appeared on the previous day, and traffic was backing up all over the City, causing chaos in its wake.
Could I ask that if the BBC check their information is accurate and up to date or if they cannot guarantee this, that they scrap these useless bulletins altogether.
