SIR – I read your article with great interest and amusement.
It is obvious to everyone that the expense of dualling from Ketch roundabout to Whittington is a total waste of money and an inconvenience to drivers. I don’t often agree with Labour councillors, but Richard Udall is correct. With the vast amount of new housing proposed to be built the proposed dualling will not cope. Motorists from the West, and I include Malvern and Hereford, need two access points to the M5.
As Cllr Udall says, we need to ring to Claines, giving dual access to the M5.
We all know there has been an anti-lobby group firmly against this, I call them the Burghers of Bevere and Claines, who are only interested in their own needs, not of the greater good of the citizens of Worcester.
