Reader's Letter: Where will all the traffic go?
SIR – Where is all the traffic supposed to go while they are dualling Carrington Bridge?
I know the idea is to build another bridge alongside, but the work is sure to affect the bridge. It isn’t only the bridge, but one mile of road needed from the Powick island.
Surely, it makes more sense to complete the ring road and build the new bridge. If that is done there will probably no longer be a need for Carrington Bridge to be widened.
