SIR – The talk of the town now seems to be about the volume of traffic on our roads and they seem to think building another bridge and ruining what countryside we’ve got left is the answer.

They thought what they’ve done to the Ketch was the answer but to me it seems worse.

Drivers come across to many things to cause tailbacks like too many roundabouts, too many lights.

Our country is too small to take all this traffic. I think in time we will only have a number of days of the week when we can use our car to keep the volume down.
