Reader's Letter: Thank you for generosity
SIR – May I take this opportunity to thank everyone who bought raffle tickets during WODYS’ sell out production of Les Miserables (School Edition) at Worcester Swan Theatre. Keeping up its record of using the annual musical to make money for a local children’s charity, WODYS decided to give the proceeds of its showtime raffle this year to Worcestershire Young Carers.
These are part of a nationwide army of young carers who face daily tasks of cleaning, cooking and shopping, besides going to school and doing homework. Thanks to the generosity of our audience we raised the magnificent sum of £900.00.
