SIR - Britain's leading farm animal welfare organisation took to the streets on October 19 and enjoyed a warm reception from Malvern shoppers.
Their mission, to promote their campaign to keep the ban on battery cages in the European Union, due to come into force in 2012.
They successfully raised a whopping £161.44 throughout the day and collected many signatures.
The money raised will help bring an end to factory farming and educate the public to make responsible choices about food that they buy.
