Love and kindness is common decency

SIR - In response to George Cowley (April 30). Love and kindness to humankind is not exclusive to Christianity. It's common decency which, admittedly, is becoming scarce. My moral outline' has nothing to do with religion. I am one of those oddball atheists,' but I can assure you that I do not shout a lot.' I have respect for those who choose to follow a faith, no matter which one. It's a pity you don't practice what you preach and respect my own choice.
