SIR – On behalf of Dogs Trust Evesham I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended our annual open day on Sunday, June 28.

Despite the credit crunch we raised even more money than last year for our canine residents – the final count stands at £8,513.53.

Dogs Trust doesn’t receive any Government funding, so we rely on the generosity of our wonderful supporters at events like this to help us care for thousands of unwanted and abandoned dogs every year.
