Move out, Jim

SIR – I am absolutely fed up with Jim Evan’s constant attacks on all that Britain holds dear – the BBC, the Press, Parliament, the police, the USA. If continental towns are so much more accessible, why doesn’t he move there?

GEORGE COWLEY,
Worcester.

Apart from a small fixation with the USA, Jim's comments are usually correct.

We are ALL fed up with the BBC, the Press and especially Parliament George, but you keep your rose-tinted glasses nice and clean, for a good view of your phantasy world.

It's actually a secret, but just between you and me, we do all enjoy living in England - still!

We appreciate the wildlife, the local natural beauty of Worcestershire and - while it lasts - the freedom to come and go as we more or less please, but they are working on that one, with silicone chips to be implanted in babies - but that's a year or two away yet and I'm too old to bother - but that's the future.

Meanwhile - the sun shines.....enjoy!
