SIR – May we say thanks to the head teacher, staff and pupils of Oldbury Park Primary School for their wonderful performance of The Tempest by Shakespeare, which we enjoyed. Their enthusiasm, energy, singing and dancing was infectious and the audience were all delighted and impressed by the high standard of performance.
At the end of the concert there was a retiring collection for the St John in Bedwardine Church Tower appeal. This, together with a donation from a concert at the school last week, amounted to £188.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this. We are slowly creeping towards our £200,000 target.
