SIR – After reading the article in the Worcester News (March 2) regarding the Woking football fan in court, I must say I was disgusted by the comment made by the chairman of the bench concerning the relegation of Worcester City FC.
Remarks like this should not be made in a court of law and I feel Michael Brazier was totally out of order in doing so.
Had I been the defendant in this case I would have felt obliged to disagree with him and no doubt I would have received a heftier fine and costs.
I wonder how many Worcester City matches Mr Brazier has been to this season to make him such an authority on the club.
