SIR – I would like to second James Connell’s article in the Worcester News of March 15, which was headed “Don’t blame the hospital for vomiting bug”. I spent a short time in February in Hazel elective orthopaedics Ward.
The cleanliness in this ward was paramount.
The staff took so much care in every way. I would like to thank them for their care and such humour and cheerfulness with which they went about their duties.
They are very short-staffed but I found this did not reflect on the attention given to us patients. I totally agree, if there are any bugs in the hospital they have been brought in from outside.
