I’m going to vote for Loony Party

SIR – You took my letter about voting Tory seriously Mr Margrett (Letters, February 25).

Actually I shall vote for the Monster Raving Loony Party in May, just for a giggle.

How sad some people are - and there's a lot more out there, like George. They don't take anything seriously, at all!

I wish the country could "pull itself together" - just once since 1945 and try and get us our of this dreadful mess.

If Mr. Cowley gets "a giggle" out of puttiing his X in the Loony box, and I'm sure he will, then he really does deserve to be pitied. I don't thing many more pathetic, deluded, characters could ever have existed.

As I recall from many years ago, part of the Official Raving Monster Loony manifestowas to spend road tax revenue on roads. Not so loony then. I think they also wanted to move the common market to sdaturdays because the pub were open all day. maybe slightly loony. But fun.

From what I hear, George is not as loony as he makes out.
