SIR – I wonder if other readers like myself are fed up with seeing letters from Jon Burgess nearly every week.
His rantings range from foxhunting to veganism. He’s becoming boring, ill informed and I pray I’m not related to him.
Jon please don’t write a reply to my letter.
I can feel a yawn coming on.

I am bored of all letters and posts referring to farm animals, veganism etc.
I'm even boring myself, before anyone responds in like fashion.

Keep them coming Jon - for you help others discover how wrong you are by engendering discussion. More than 10 years of Jons letters advocating foxhunting and denial of farm animal cruelity has worked against his beliefs by making people think. A few do not like to read of Jons chosen subjects because it disturbs them and they try and stop others from the right of free speech. Want to read and comment on other subjects? Do so as well. Why should a few 'bored' people dictate what others say or do?

If you manage to find 40 letters of John's from around 1200 returned then I rest my case, the majority are about him rather than written by him.

As your brother Hymie said "and they try and stop others from the right of free speech" and "Why should a few 'bored' people dictate what others say or do?"
Jon has a 'right' to free speech as well you know!

you, crowquill posted first on this sight that "you were fed up with mention of Mr Burgess's name as he (Jon Burgess) himself had not wrote many letters."
Hymie pointed out that Mr Burgess had in fact wrote over 40 letters at which point Hymie had stoped counting. Not only do you wrongly state the truth you then go on to deny what you posted.

I still maintain that there are more letters written about Mr Burgess than are actually written by him. Which is in 'fact' the whole point of this discussion as per the original letter and my comment and nothing to do with animal rights!. So Hymie found 40 out of 1200 hits and stopped counting, what does that prove exactly? If anything it supports my original point!
