Please help us get new breast unit

SIR – Thank you Worcester News for your continued support of the Worcestershire Breast Unit Campaign (Worcester News, February 1).

As a pensioner there is only so much I can do. However, to coin a phrase ‘every little helps’, so I have an arrangement with a friend, who sends a Christmas and birthday donation in lieu of a present.

May I encourage others to do likewise. Many are fortunate to have benefited from the dedicated skill and care of Stephen Thrush [consultant breast surgeon] and his team, as I have.

The new unit is urgently required.

Please think: ‘Bob the Builder, can we fix it... yes, we can’.
