Thank you, all, you helped raise £11,000

SIR – I would like to thank the many people who bought poppies in house-tohouse and street collections in 2011.

In addition I would like to thank those who bought wreaths and gave donations.

With your generous support we collected more than £11,000 towards the Poppy Appeal.

Thank you also to all of you who supported our Remembrance service.

Once again our service was an outstanding community event sharing great respect for our service people and families past and present.
