SIR – Why haven’t we learned the lessons from the Iraq war?

The same reasons for attacking Iraq are being obediently repeated as reasons for attacking Iran.

When will this madness end? You would have thought that the Government would be more interested in sorting out our own problems here, such as increasing unemployment.

I hope that Jeremy Corbyn MP is correct to write that: “The generation that opposed the Afghan and Iraq wars in their millions is not going to stand for yet another conflict to waste resources, destroy lives and make the world an even more dangerous place.”
