We are lucky to have hospital facilities

SIR – Re the story in the Worcester News on February 4 about Worcestershire Royal Hospital ‘Treatment at hospital was so disgusting’.

I am sorry that Donna Stimson received appalling care. I had nine days in Worcestershire Royal Hospital in the coronary care unit in September having had two heart attacks – one in the hospital.

I received excellent care and treatment throughout my stay. All the staff, doctors, nurses and ancilliary workers were excellent, doing a difficult job under exacting conditions.

We are lucky to be living in an area with such good facilities.
