Surely they won’t put price up this much?

SIR – According to Yours Magazine, Royal Mail is considering raising the price of second class postage stamps from 36p to 55p in April – a rise of more than 50 per cent.

How can they justify such a rise considering they posted big group profits in a recent six-month period?

Perhaps the executives are following the trend of the bankers with regard to bonuses.

Maybe they'll actually increase it by "only" 10p, thus making the sheeple think they've got off lightly compared to the tipped rise to 55p.
