SIR – I totally agree with the letter by Carl Mason (Worcester News, March 20) and his views on unemployment and immigration.
We have huge numbers of our own unemployed, yet we still open the door for non-UK people to come in and take employment.
Where is the sense in this?
Immigration needs to be drastically curbed or put on hold for at least five years, not only non-EU people but, more realistically people entering these shores from within EU countries.
We need to pull out of the EU. The EU does not do this country any good.
It just gobbles up millions of pounds each year and floods our shores with people coming to take our jobs and put a strain on housing, schools, the NHS and lots more.
Well done, Mr Mason, you, like many others, say what the majority thinks.
