SIR – As a member of Worcestershire County Cricket Club, I have attended the early matches of the season.
And guess what? The scoreboard has broken down again. May I ask Mr [David] Leatherdale (chief executive) what measures are being taken to rectify this matter.
It is, after all, a very important item on any cricket ground.
Are we to assume that the scoreboard will be out of action for at least one month as it was in the 2011 season?
The club have only had six months during the close season to rectify this matter.
