Mr Berry, there are more important issues

SIR – I was amazed to read that Roger Berry is all for fining people for having scruffy gardens in the Gorse Hill/Tolladine area (Worcester News, June 9).

I was one of the few people who bothered to turn out to vote for him on a very rainy day in May and I must say that I did not do this so that his top priority is the state of local gardens.

Surely a decent bus service and the state of the pot-holed roads in his area should come first.

If this is the best he can do I think I will stay at home next time.
