Cathedral is steeped in prayers of centuries

SIR – J L Reynolds asks in his letter (Worcester News, May 29), what does Worcester Cathedral offer?

Well, it is steeped in the prayers of centuries and the crypt goes back to the year 1000 AD.

I love just sitting there quietly.

Time stands still, heaven waits.

George, in the far distant future when you've shuffled off to that great letters page in the sky, we should have you stuffed and mounted, (pen in hand) and placed as a permanent memorial in the cathedral.
