AS the countdown to Christmas begins, we are on a mission to ensure that your pet pooch does not escape the excitement.

These festive pets are really getting into the spirit of Christmas by donning a festive hat and posing for the camera. Now it’s your turn.

Why not dress up your pet and send us the picture? In the run-up to Christmas we would love to feature as many dogs in festive hats as possible. Just take your snap and e-mail it to photo@ worcesternews.co.uk or send it to Christmas Dogs, Picture desk, Worcester News, Hylton Road, Worcester WR2 5JX.

Don’t forget to add your name and the name of your dog.

Not yet and we don't know at this stage if we'll be able to get one done. Rest assured that if we do it'll be promoted on the homepage, though.
