A NURSERY became a who’s who of favourite story characters as children dressed up in colourful costumes for a special storytelling day.
About 60 children and the staff from Busy Bees Day Nursery, Brindley Road, Worcester, enjoyed a visit from a professional storyteller, took part in a storybook competition and baked their own gingerbread men.
Manager Shelley Southall said they looked great in their costumes, which ranged from fairytale characters such as Goldilocks to superheroes including Spiderman and Buzz Lightyear.
“It was fantastic fun and we managed to raise more than £200 for the Make A Wish Foundation,” she said.
