A MAN has appeared in court charged with causing the death of a motorcyclist from Evesham who was killed in a crash on the A46 in October.
Diana Burgess, aged 40, of Pershore Road, Evesham, died on Tuesday, October 16 when her motorbike was involved in a crash with a car on the A46 between the villages of Beckford and Ashton under Hill on the Worcestershire-Gloucestershire border. The mother of three was declared dead at the scene by a doctor from the Air Ambulance.
The driver of the car was Steven Moore, aged 42 and of Goodeve Park, Bristol. He was arrested following the collision and charged on Tuesday, February 5 with causing death by dangerous driving. He appeared at Worcester Magistrates’ Court today and has been referred to Worcester Crown Court where he is due to appear on March 25. He was released on court bail until then.
