AFTER two defeats on the run Clock Face got back to winning ways with this hard fought win over Farnworth.

Clock got off to a good start when Matty Norton forced his way over for a try converted by Craig Greenall.

More was to follow as Clock kept the pressure on Farnworth and a low kick through the defence from Gibson saw it go through a defenders legs with Andy Stanton following up to score under the posts, Greenall adding on the extras.

Clock were well on top but Hamon went over for a try which Dourley converted to bring the visitors back into the game.

It wasn’t until near the end of the half that Clock finally scored again when Peter Bekker forced his way over with Greenall landing a great conversion to give Clock a 18-12 lead.

It was not a good start to the second half for Clock as influential fullback Adam McGowan had to be carried from the field with an ankle injury and this proved costly as shortly after Farnworth went over for a converted try.

The next score came minutes from the end with Clock getting the points when Greenall raced onto the ball going through a gap then just managing to reach out and score then convert his try.

The scoring though was not over yet as well into injury time their was time for one last score and it came from Farnworth when Kyle McGreevy finished off in the corner with Dourley landing a fine conversion.

The Saints Taxis man of the match was Craig Greenall with Andy Stanton taking the Rosco Tyres players player award.
